First European Summer School on Fuzzy Logic and Applications
Lake Como School of Advanced Studies, 7-11 September 2015 (Como)

The first School on Fuzzy Logic and Applications is an event proeusflatmoted by the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT, http://www.eusflat.org/). The School is addressed to PhD students and young researchers, and it aims at introducing the core aspects and recent developments of Fuzzy Logic and related applications.
The school will consist of several courses, ranging from 2 to 4 hours each, which will be held by world-leading experts in the field. We will offer introductory courses to Fuzzy Logic, Fuzzy Sets and Uncertainty Theories, as well as more specific courses on Fuzzy measures, Decision Making, Image Processing, Database Management and Information Retrieval. A session dedicated to Industrial applications will take place on the last day of the school.
A key aspect of the School will be the communication and collaboration among the participants and the lecturers, by giving time for discussions to the aim of generating a fruitful ground for exchanging knowledge. We will invite the students and young researchers attending the school to give short presentations on their activities.
